Just as the other review states - I love my case because my apple pencil stays put and charged. I use this with both my apple magic keyboard and also the magic folio. I know it is not made for the folio per se but it works about as well there as it does with the magic keyboard. I use it on its own too when I don't want any keyboards in my way and still want my pencil with me but I have to be more careful since not a full cover.

The reason this is not perfect is again, like the other review says, the magnetic portion is not strong an when I go to adjust the volume, the whole thing falls off the back of the magic keyboard. It is annoying. I cannot however, find a better alternative.

In terms of the magic folio, again not made for that per se but the slippage is seriously about the same despite not being made for the folio which makes me think that if it stated put on the magic keyboard then it would likely on the folio too. The the cover buddy sits almost perfect on the folio but does add a tiny bit of weight - but again worth it for the pencil hold and charging this case adds.

I was looking for a cover that would hold the pencil as well as work with the Apple magic keyboard, and this does it magically! The only issue is that with the cover only attaching on 3 sides, I’m finding that when I’m using the keyboard, the iPad creeps down inside the cover, making the volume buttons very difficult to use and I have to push it up in the cover to make them usable, but inevitably the iPad creeps down again almost immediately. It’s not a deal breaker, but not an ideal solution.
Using it for writing is amazing. I take a lot of notes in meetings and prior to this cover, the camera being higher then the rest of the iPad made it wobble, which is maddening, this cover makes it all nice and flat, so for that alone it’s worth every penny.
In summary, I would buy it again, just wish that the iPad creeping wasn’t an issue. Hopefully the newer models address this.
